Setting Team and User Email Signatures Templates

Learn how to create email signatures templates for you or your team

Written by Jointly Support

An email signature is the sign-off that goes on messages you send from Jointly — your name, contact details, brokerage, a logo if you want one. You can set one up for yourself, and a Team Admin can set one up for the team.

Who can use email signatures?

Email signatures are available on Pro and Business accounts.

Anyone on either plan can create a signature for their own use. Team signatures can only be created by a Team Admin on a Business account.

Where do I create my signature?

Your own signature — Pro or Business

Select the Profile icon in the left sidebar, open Manage Profile, and choose Email Templates on the left.

Your team's signature — Team Admins

  1. Go to the Team icon in the left bar.

  2. Select Email Templates.

Signatures live in the same place as email templates — you choose Email Signature once you are there.

How do I create an email signature?

  1. In template management, select Email Signature, then +Add Template.

  2. Name it using the pencil icon, then build the signature. You can use the rich text editing tools and include pictures and links. Select Save Template when you are finished.

How do I use my signature?

It is added for you: when you create a message, the signature populates in it automatically.

You can also add one by hand — select the signature icon at the bottom of the message.

Is this the same as my e-signature?

No — they are two different things, and it is worth being clear about which one you mean:

  • An email signature is the sign-off on messages you send from Jointly. That is what this article covers.

  • Your e-signature is what gets applied when you sign a document. To change that one, see How to Update Your E-Signature.

Where do I set up email templates?

Templates themselves are covered separately — see Email Templates.

If your signature is not appearing on your messages, reply in the chat and we will take a look.
