Update your profile settings and preferences to get the most out of Jointly.

To get started, navigate to your Profile Settings by selecting the Profile icon on the left-hand navigation bar, then "Manage Profile."

1. Set your contract preferences

All of the information completed in your Contract Preferences will be used to auto-fill forms and contracts where relevant. Although it is optional to set your preferences, we highly recommend taking this step, as it will save you time when adding clients and drafting offers and documents.

Update License & Brokerage Information

Save time by filling out your brokerage information to prepopulate documents and forms used throughout transactions.

Note: If you have an enterprise account, this information will be predetermined by your brokerage and already filled in. You can skip this step!

What you'll need:

  • Brokerage name, license number, email, phone, fax, and office address

  • Designated broker's name, license number, email, and phone

  • Licensed supervisor's name, license number, email, and phone

  • Team name (if applicable)

Complete your Listing Agreement preferences

Save default terms for your Listing Agreements. Don't worry, you can always override these defaults when generating Listing Agreements for specific clients.

What information can be defaulted:

  • Item exclusions

  • If the listing will be filed with 1 or more MLSs

  • Number of days the property will be listed on the MLS

  • Reason for delayed MLS submission

  • Companies who will have access to the property

  • Listing Agreement duration

  • Protection period duration

  • County for cash payments

  • Commission percentage paid to the buyer's:

    • MLS member brokerage

    • MLS member brokerage subagent

    • Non-MLS member brokerage

    • Non-MLS member brokerage subagent

  • Any special provisions

Complete your Buyer Representation Agreement preferences

Save default terms for your Buyer Representation Agreements. Don't worry, you can always override these defaults when generating Buyer Representation Agreements for specific clients.

What information can be defaulted:

  • Market area

  • County for cash payments

  • Buyer Representation Agreement duration

  • Commission percentage paid to the buyer's agent

  • Compensation you'll receive if your client leases the property

    • How and what percentage

  • Any construction or other fees you're entitled to

  • Any special provisions

Complete your Offer & Escrow preferences

Save default terms for your contracts. Don't worry, you can always override these defaults when drafting an offer or contract for specific clients.

What information can be defaulted:

  • Days to close

  • Option period duration

  • Option fee

  • Financing type

  • Third party financing type

  • If the loan has an adjustable rate

  • Who purchases the title policy

  • If the title policy will be amended in the case of survey discrepancies

  • Who pays if the title policy is amended

  • How long the seller has to provide the SDN

  • If the property is accepted as-is

  • Any buyer objections

  • How long the buyer or seller has to provide the survey

  • How much the seller will contribute to the home warranty

  • If transaction coordinators can submit offers on your behalf

  • Title company name and address

  • Escrow agent name, email, and phone

2. Set your digital signature

Set your digital signature and initials so you can quickly e-sign documents and contracts.

  1. In your profile settings, select E-Signature

  2. You can draw or type your signature. Choose which you prefer by selecting the appropriate tab. Then, draw or enter your signature into the box.

  3. Select the checkbox agreeing that the signature is legally binding. Press Next.

  4. Draw or type in your initials. Press Adopt.

  5. If at any point you'd like to update your digital signature or initials, you can press Clear and then reenter them as you'd like them to appear.

3. Set your notification preferences

Choose how you'd like to receive notifications from Jointly.

  1. In your profile settings, select Notifications.

  2. Choose whether you'd like to receive notifications from Jointly by email, text message, or both.

  3. Check or uncheck the boxes to update which promotional or marketing emails you'd like to receive from Jointly.

  4. Press Save.

Note: You must enter a phone number in your Account Details if you'd like to receive notifications via text message.

4. Upload a profile photo

Upload a profile photo so clients and other parties using Jointly can easily recognize your avatar.

  1. Click Profile on the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Tap the camera icon next to your avatar.

  3. Your files will automatically open. Choose an image from your files and press Open.

  4. You'll now see your profile photo updated.
