How to Cancel or Change Your Jointly Plan

Cancel your plan or switch to a smaller one from Billing, and what happens afterwards.

You can cancel your Jointly plan, or switch to a smaller one, from Billing. A cancellation never takes effect right away: you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.

Before you start

Billing is only shown to the person who pays for the plan. If your team or brokerage pays for your plan, you won't see it. Ask your team owner or admin instead.

How to cancel your plan

  1. Click Billing at the bottom of the left menu.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the window, to Cancel Current Plan.

  3. Click Cancel Plan.

  4. In Cancel current plan?, check the date your plan ends, then click Cancel plan. Click Keep plan if you changed your mind.

Switch to a smaller plan instead

Click Change Plan next to Cancel Plan, or use the Switch to… buttons in the Cancel current plan? window. You keep your current plan until the end of your billing period, then it switches automatically.

Cancelling during your free trial

If you added a card during your free trial, you can cancel the same way. Your plan ends when the trial ends and your card is not charged.

If you never added a card, there is nothing to cancel: nothing is charged, and the trial simply ends on its end date.

What happens after you cancel

  • You won't be charged again, and you keep every feature of your plan until the date shown.

  • Your plan in Billing shows that you cancelled it and when your access ends. To undo it before then, click the Keep your Jointly plan link there and confirm.

  • Once your plan ends, you can still start and work on landlord and tenant deals. The other deals you created become view only until you choose a plan again.

  • If your MLS membership includes Starter at no cost, you keep Starter access for free after your plan ends.

My plan says "Change or Cancel Your Plan"

Your plan is set by an agreement with Jointly, so it can't be cancelled from Billing. Click Talk to Sales, or contact your account manager, to change or cancel it.
